Drop-off Shredding and More

If you have less than 3 boxes (roughly 90 pounds) of paper to shred, you can drop them off at this location for a quick and easy solution. Smaller collection bins and pricing by weight mean more convenience and value for you. While rates differ by location, you’ll pay by the pound for document destruction. Your files will be stored in a secure, tamper-proof shred bin inside The UPS Store until a mobile shred truck comes by to shred them on site.

An important note — some shredding drop-off locations don’t accept hard drives or electronics. They also don’t allow you to witness the shredding and cannot provide a certificate of destruction. Try one of our other services if this conflicts with your needs.

If you have more than 3 boxes, your other options include onsite mobile shredding, which allows you to schedule a shredding truck to come to your location. You can also ship a box of your documents to a destruction center with Ship ‘N’ Shred. With offsite shredding services, your documents are picked up for offsite destruction. And if you need help destroying your hard drives or electronic devices, we can help with that, too.

How It Works

After you contact us via form or phone, Shred Nations will work with you to determine your paper shredding needs, including how frequently you’ll need service and what type of service will best meet your needs. Then, we’ll match you with one or more providers in our network. Those providers will reach out to you with quotes, enabling you to make the best choice for your shredding needs.

Once you’ve chosen a provider, you’ll prepare your documents for destruction. Depending on the type of shredding service, you’ll either drop off your documents at a facility near you, or the provider will come to you to retrieve your documents for onsite or offsite shredding. After your documents have been properly destroyed, you can request a certificate of destruction from most providers.
