When someone close to you passes away it is always difficult to figure out how to handle all of their affairs. Not only do you have to worry about how to handle everything that they had going on, but 
you also have to take time out to grieve the loss of a loved one. It’s not always easy taking on someone else’s responsibilities when you already have so much going on. One thing that is extremely important though is making sure that you take care of their documents accordingly. Just because someone has passed away doesn’t mean that their identity isn’t at risk of being stolen. There have been many reports of people taking a deceased person’s identity because it is actually easier to get away with. As horrible as that sounds, it is unfortunately the world that we live in right now. The best way to make sure that you protect your loved ones identity, is to shred all of their paperwork.
Because of how difficult it can be to handle all of their affairs, you want to make sure you find the easiest way possible to destroy all of the records without having to put too much pressure on yourself. There is enough going on and you shouldn’t have to take more time out on their records than necessary. There are actually ways to have someone come to their location and shred everything onsite so that you can physically see all of their documents being destroyed. This makes it easier on you, and gives you more time to grieve over your loved one.
