I don't have an email address. Can I still use the Shred Nations system?

Sorry. At this time, you must have email to use our system. The fastest way to get the lead out is by email. In fact, some of our shredders are so sensitive to response time that they call us within a few minutes of the lead being generated.

What are the biggest mistakes you see people making when they to close a lead delivered by Shred Nations?

The biggest mistakes I see shredding contractors make are:

  • Waiting for the lead to get too old.

  • Failing to satisfy the needs of the customer because there is not enough sensitivity to his/her requirements.>/li>
  • Not asking for the order. Don't be afraid of the "No." You can ask for the order in a dozen different ways: When can I get started? Can I come out and visit? How can we help you shred your sensitive materials? Would you like to try us on a trial basis?

What's the best way to close the leads Shred Nations sends me?

The single most important factor is the speed with which you respond to a lead. Get on the phone and call the contact, or stop by the location for an on site visit. You need to show that you are dedicated to the customer and find a way to differentiate your shredding from the competition. Many contractors send a template to every customer and then follow up with a call as soon as they can. What ever you do, don't expect the customer to wait until tomorrow.

Hey John, how do I charge for 10 boxes?

Each market sets the price so it will be different from city to city. However, I will tell you that you need a minimum charge for small jobs like this. Figure out what revenue you need from each stop to cover your costs. Add on a margin and then never offer service below this number. You can never make up a loss on volume so don't try.
