CardCops Inc., and Internet security company has recorded a conversation with identity thieves trying to sell the personal information for Herman Munster. Yes, THE Herman Munster. A fictional character based on Frankenstein from the 1960s sitcom "The Munsters."
The thieves included his address, 1313 Mocking Bird Lane, also from the show, and what was supposed to be a valid credit card number.
And how old is Herman Munster? At least this part they had correct. He was born when the show first aired in 1964.

In yet another case where states and city governments are able to create real solutions where only gridlock reigns in Washington:
Eric Ellman, a lobbyist for the Consumer Data Industry Association (CDIA), has been fighting national credit freeze legislation for the two years. After spending $1.6 million in 2006 they have successfully killed legislation that would help protect all Americans.
But in statehouses across the country legislators not showered with campaign contributions have acted in a more responsible way by passing the same laws. 35 states now have credit freeze laws on the books with more expected to follow soon.

| Bodyguard to the stars jailed for identity theft |

Many of make mistakes when we are young but when Robert A. Morillo was convicted carrying a concealed firearm it seemed to end his dream of becoming a licensed bodyguard. So to get around the problem he stole the identity of a coworker.
Morillo went on to work for the Saudi royal family, teen star Hilary Duff and rapper Sean ''Diddy'' Combs.
His past has caught up to him and now he faces two years in prison for aggravated identity theft.
